Constitutional Tribunal shuts the door to unbridled congressional spending #Peru #Wortschaft #Kongress
The Constitutional Tribunal has finally ruled, after years of delay during which Congress authorised massive fiscal spending, to close the door from now onwards. The decision, taken by the TC on 10 July, three weeks in advance of Fuerza Popular (FP) taking over the presidency, will restrict the ability of Congress to spend public resources without restraint.
