I did not get involved in #VEEPstakes as I did not want to get attached to any one pick. I trusted Kamala to make the right choice.
But Walz was my favorite in part because his story and experience is such a great complement to Harris’ story and experience.
And that’s what a good VP pick should do.
So I could not be more thrilled to type #HarrisWalz2024
This is a winning ticket. If we fight for them, it could be a ticket with the biggest #bluewave in a generation.

I wonder if the #Harris campaign is considering the timing of their #VP announcement given the imminent attack expected from Iran.
They wouldn't want to do it beforehand and have the attack ruin their news cycle.
However, if the US pulls off a near perfect defense again, the wave of that victory could increase the VP announcement's salience.
I can imagine a Shaprio announcement aligning perfectly given his background vis-a-vis Israel.

Governor Walz’s interview with Ezra Klein is definitely worth listening to.
I am quite impressed—listening to him articulate the case makes me think he could get the nod in the end.
I can feel the connection with him as a Wisconsinite when he talks about the places he grew up. That’s going to be very valuable.

She does not need to interview them as she knows them well and she probably has spoken to them already and reoeatedly.
Looking at it strictly personality wise I would think Tim #Walz she will feel very comfortable & confident with her as well. So I expect one of these 3 to be the selection. All 3 of which work for me. All play the typical attack dog of the opponent well.
I think she should rule out political calculus and pick a partner. (Unlike Trump who had a #chamelon picked for him.
I rule out #shapiro and #prtizker for their controversial unnuanced positiins re Israel. I think their selection would be divisive and alienate parts ofvher broad coalition.
