The US Senate has passed a bill to ban the import of enriched uranium from Russia until 2040, with temporary exemptions until January 2028. The document has been sent to Biden for signing. Currently, Russia supplies almost a quarter of the enriched uranium to the US, making it the main foreign supplier.
