Tink's headstone finally came. 💔 #DogsOfMastodon #TheOGChi

Thank you so much for all the kind words & love--I'm appreciating it more than you know.

We let all the dogs say goodbye to her last night & then put her in the fridge until this morning. Mr. Boots dug her grave this morning & now she's next to Tibby under the mesquite tree out back.

She had a long, happy life, & she was so loved. She's still loved. She always will be. ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ #DogsOfMastodon #Tink #TheOGChi

She was 2 yrs old when we adopted her—she’d been living on the street, but a cpl of women who worked for the Santa Clarita PD spent weeks trying to nab her & finally got their hands on her w/ a McDonalds cheeseburger. She was skin & bones, had hypothyroidism & a broken leg. But she recovered & turned into the sweetest, cuddliest, goofiest little Chi ever. We had 12 yrs with her. It wasn’t enough, & I don’t know what I’ll do w/o her. 💔 #Tinkabell #TheOGChi

Tink (in back) has had what we thought was a tooth abscess for a couple of days—we were giving her antibiotics, but today, she seemed like she was getting worse, so we went to the emergency vet. It was cancer—& it had already spread to her lymph glands. So we’ve lost our Tink, but hopefully, she’s reunited with Tibby (in front). I can’t believe they’re both gone. My heart won’t stop breaking. #Tinkabell #TheOGChi #DogsOfMastodon
