@jwillia2 that wasn’t true of Evergreen State in Olympia WA in the 70’s. Anecdotally, those people I met altered the worlds they lived in. When I was a visiting presenter, I was amazed at the eagerness and engagement of the class members I saw. I would conclude that the structures universities build are externally controlled to keep higher education from altering anything. #TESU
