The team behind the #Lorelei talk at last years #kvmforum have now posted patches for a #qemu #tcgplugins based approach. It allows for guests to call host libraries which is one of the techniques that allows things like #fex and #box86 to achieve their performance. No hacking the internals of QEMU required just a nice narrowly scoped plugin and the library tooling can live out of the tree: https://patchew.org/QEMU/2026061904540[email protected]/
