Ukrainians have declared over 4,500 foreign companies, mostly in Poland. In the past two years, they have reported over 4,500 controlled foreign companies to the Tax Service, a quarter of which are registered in Poland. The most popular countries for foreign company registration among Ukrainians are Poland, the UK, the US, Cyprus, and Estonia. The campaign for declaring foreign companies for 2023 is currently ongoing. #UkraineBusiness #TaxDeclaration

Oh, and btw, Mastodon gGmbH is a not-for-profit, charitable entity under German law.
Germans can donate money and claim some part of this back in their #taxdeclaration.
Same applies for many mastodon servers which are run by not-for-profit entities.
