At #SWEC25 in May, we had three sessions on 'the state of the IT job market,' ranging from 'recycling devs' to 'AI is taking our jobs.' At #JSCC25, the tone felt much more positive. Is this a sign of recovery, or is #Munich still insulated from the downturn?

Maybe Mastodon has to be pushed actively at the conference.
The last conference I went to was the Software Engineering Camp (@swec) in Fürth, Germany with around 60 people and there were some toots here on Mastodon. But I was asked to provide a @glacier Installation, so we had a social wall there we ate, in the main room and in the entrance.
So people were actively encouraged to use it.
At the @OSCo we had also a glacier social wall and many wrote toots. But both are bar camp format.
Did you have a social wall there, too?

The first night at the #swec25 was a blast, we had a lot of fun with the nerdy improvisation theater thanks vollemoehre.de workshop and their quick thinking comedy. German wordplay can get very funny @glacier #swec
