Stroke order is important in written Japanese, something stressed even early with hiragana. So naturally Japanese educational materials do this for numerals and Roman letters (123, ABC).
Anyway, Japanese spouse and I both disagreed with youngest’s Scottish Primary School practice sheet on how to draw “8”. We both start at the top, and go down-and-left. So the homework sheet has been edited… #Number8 #StrokeOrder
