  1. @drrimmer I completely agree with Mike Freelander—it's truly appalling that the government would prioritise briefing lobbyists over its own caucus on such an important issue. The influence of the gambling industry on policy is a major concern, and it seems Labor is indeed being "softened up." The public deserves strong and decisive action against gambling ads, particularly on TV and social media, where they can have a harmful impact, especially on vulnerable communities. It’s high time the government put people’s well-being ahead of industry interests.#GamblingAds #PolicyReform #PublicHealth #StopTheSpin #PeopleOverProfits #AusPol

  2. Hey, #nytimes - get off Joe Biden’s back! Stick to the facts:

    #Trump is a convicted felon
    #Trump incited an insurrection
#Trump did NOT at any time try to stop the insurrection
#Trump wants to be a dictator (his words)
#Trump downplayed the pandemic, allowing millions of Americans to die

    TELL THE TRUTH, #nytimes

  4. If the wing nuts mantra of repeating a lie so often it becomes the truth is so effective, how many times do we need to tell the truth for it to overcome that propaganda campaign? How often will telling the truth penetrate the veil of hypocrisy we repeatedly cite as the real affront?

Surely if we're continually referencing the disinformation and its insidious harms, railing against them, we're perpetuating that story, helping them and not ourselves.

I'm proposing we start delivering the narrative from the position of strength, from factual basis, stressing what is known to be provably justified. End if necessary, citing the mis or disinformation, briefly but succinctly

Could it make a difference? One way to find out is to begin
