#SpotTheBot, its a dunk on @[email protected] and at some of my followers. How come we haven't solved the synthetic "petit Aisian (always East-Aisian, never brown) mass following, using ChatGPT promts to get fortune cookie answers about golf/food/shopping/and SF democratic party" kind of bot?

I hate bot runners and synthetic accounts. Not only because they are scammers but because they also ruin the experience and are annoying. But sometimes I do wonder how overworked they must be to give us such fun mishmash 😁 #SpotTheBot

Worse part, about the "BlueSky is a bubble" discourse for me is, as many people run to defend the platform bots pick it up as a trend and rebrand as BlueSky supporters #SpotTheBot

While BlueSky is very effective in bot curbing (98,3% banned in my case) Its good to remind the basics. And if you spot one, don't just block, always report as well A) classics catfish, cute girl,note single and looking B) unassuming, follows a lot C) FB level scam D) Just so very dumb #SpotTheBot

We all like to complain about @[email protected] results and they do have room to improvement but my main block list holds 44 593 accounts but with only 789 currently active. Meaning they have suspended 98,2% of my reports! 98% success rate! #SpotTheBot works pretty well imho!

Mahmod from Ga z a (they split the name to make searching harder) are now buying/hacking general farm accounts. Report not only here but also in go-fund-me. We have had some limited success with it #Spotthebot #scam

How can you tell its broken? Because this ⏬️ is not much better. #spotthebot P.S context, account runner automated comments, giving out lamest "lit" ones. But then the bot broke. Honestly, I prefer the bot error messages to bot trying to be young and cool. Very "How do you do fellow kids" vibe

Scammer, meet results ⏬️ #Bluesky has a lot of issues, as all social media have but in this specific aspect they are the most effective I have seen a while, far from perfect but effective IF you report! Why aren't they pro active I'll never know. So, see a bot, report a bot. #spotthebot
