Just watched a a special post-run showing of Gran Turismo at my local AMC which I missed when it was initially released back in August.

It's a "true story" about a Gran Turismo simulator "gamer" named Jann Mardenborough, who became a real GT & Formula 1 race car driver.

I really enjoyed the movie and I'd give it a 5 out of 5 for the driving/action/special effects and a 3-4 (depending on the scene) for the acting.

But the movie reallly is all about the cars and the driving and, if you're a car geek, speed freak and/or auto racing fan, like I am, and, if you haven't seen this movie yet, I highly recommend it.

It's no longer in most theaters but it's available to stream & will be out soon on DVD.

I'm definitely going to buy a copy of the DVD when it's released. The movie even tempts me to get & set up a Gran Turismo game simulator at home but I"m really going to try to resist this impluse. 🙏
