This #AhaMoment when doing some #programming on one of my speech #opensource projects.
I was trying to feed audio data from one #rtp stream into a #spechrecognizer. I was optimistic and already configured 2 speech engines.
I was wondering why the data arrived, but the thread to transform the audio data and feed into the recognizer never returned.
The unit test was working, and I finally discovered that a misconfiguration. The RTP thread used engine 2, and the reading happened on engine 1. -
