Today I learnt a new word Stoßlüften - shock ventilation. I'm a bit obsessed with throwing my bedroom window open for a few minutes after I get up each morning. Even when it's cold. Always wondered if it did any good, I do like the fresh air. Turns out there is a German word for it - Stoßlüften! Proper chuffed with that.
