From a single word here on Mastodon I recalled a single issue of Starblazer that I bought in 1980. It was as bad as the series title would suggest. I never bought another issue. Made 2000AD seem sophisticated.
Of course I looked online to check that I hadn't imagined it and it looked as dull as I recall. However, I scrolled through other later issues, most of which looked as dull, but this one cover is a total vibe.
I bet the story was nowhere near as good as this cover.
