MCP tools, Agents + Subagents, Skills - all missing a consistent versioning story.
Just listened in to a tech talk on the upcoming MCP Server for Processes in #Camunda 8.10 (yes, you heard that right: interact with each deployed Process Definition in natural language 🤯).
We're solving this pragmatically in #ProcessOS (semver, tags, releases).
But c'mon, this is solved everywhere else in Software Engineering already;
there should have been a standard for this from the get-go. -
I've been working on @camunda's #ProcessOS for some time now (context: ProcessOS is the attempt to do what coding agents provide for software development, but for processes).
This means using an agentic engineering approach to -well- create the agentic solution ProcessOS (yep, inception vibes).
Yet in all the murky waters of probabilistic and non-deterministic engineering, some structural invariants have even become more -well- invariable than ever: (1/3)
