"Break My Stride" is a song performed by American recording artist #MatthewWilder. It was released in August 1983 by #PrivateI as the lead single from his debut album, #IDontSpeakTheLanguage (1983), and became a major worldwide hit single for him in late 1983 and spring 1984, reaching numbers five and two on the US #Billboard Hot 100 and #CashBox Top 100. Wilder co-wrote the song with Greg Prestopino, and it was produced by #PeterBunetta, #RickChudacoff.
