Apparently, this is a Lion’s Mane jellyfish, the largest known jellyfish species, and dangerous (while they don’t kill you, cause painful stings, I just read). 😳😅 I saw a few floating in the shallows, and several washed up on the beach.
Despite the chilly water temperature at 18°C, I enjoyed swimming, fortunately unscathed. Ignorance is such a bliss. 😂
