I see no mention of Michaelmas or St Michael in his poems, but #RSThomas studied theology at St Michael’s College #Llandaff, was vicar of St Michael’s #Manafon, then St Michael’s #Eglwysfach. He died just 4 days before #MichaelmasDay

I am a big fan of David Sylvian and his music. And I am also a fan of the lots of inofficial remixes that are out there.
Here is a "Smelly Funk Remix" of the tune "Manafon" which was published on the album "Manafon" in 2009. The original consisted of Sylvian's voice and an improvising string quartet. The remix is quite "poppy" and I like it a lot. Found on SoundCloud, the home of strange and interesting remixes.
