    Hi, this is Dr. #Kristin #Lyerly.
    I am a mother, a practicing OB/GYN, and a sixth-generation Wisconsinite.

    Today, I'm also excited to say that I am the Democratic nominee for Wisconsin's 8th district.
    It's an open seat we can flip from Red to Blue.

    We've been working hard for months now, and I'm honored to officially be our district's nominee.

    But my work didn't start when I began this campaign. For over a decade, I've provided healthcare for women statewide.

    Then, an 1800s-era law took effect after Roe v. Wade.

    I had to practice in Minnesota to avoid prosecution for providing abortion care.
    💥To overturn that law, I sued the state of Wisconsin - and won.

    Now I'm running for Congress because for too long, our community has been represented by Republicans who don't align with our values of affordable healthcare access, a woman's right to choose, and lowering grocery and gas costs for our families.

    The work doesn't stop here
    - we have a critical end-of-month deadline in just a few days.
    If we don't hit our goals we will fall behind.
