Yesterday in #espoo #finland we were studying the use of #nunchaku and #surujin, which both share a lot of similarities, while still having their own distinct methods of use.
Surujin is especially challenging to use in the paired drills, perhaps as the control of the ball is not that easy as it would be with a stick, but with a bit of #training, anything is possible.

#sai versus #bo (stick) is often finished with a move like this, by utilising both of them.
The #training of #kobujutsu or #karatewithweapons is about getting a grip of the #bo first, followed by #sai.
Today begins the new beginners course in #espoo #finland, in the school of #haukilahti at 20:00 (in about two hours from now) -
