Picking an instance was hard…
I am passionate about science, but I don’t do science meaningfully. I adore F1 but also wanted to maunder on about novels I am reading… I like the idea of posting varied and probably inane ideas out into the fediverse and getting none or many interesting replies from a diverse and interesting group of people.
