Definitely some things going on with #HyperspaceStarlight lately! @[email protected] worked on a brand-new backend library (Chica), and we now have login working, as well as some basic localized strings for English and Spanish!

Gonna address this so that we’re clear: yes, we know the NPL is not open-source by the OSI definition. We know the website is wrong and will get around to fixing it soon. But we’ve determined that the NPL is most suitable for this project to maintain a healthy fediverse.
If you have a problem with the licensing, you’re free to use other software.

Been working on the new login and sign up views for #HyperspaceStarlight. Pretty fun so far, especially with the server picker we may be implementing based on topics.

#SwiftUI update (codename is now Starlight, BTW)... Starting to hook Mastodon stuff up and been designing the iOS version with some new pages.

Been working with @amodrono the past few days on something we've been planning a while... the #Hyperspace #SwiftUI clients (codename Starlight)! We finished up data models and are starting to work on the user interface a little with some basic navigation. I'm excited to see what comes next.

I've updated the docs on #HyperspaceDesktop to include more detailed macOS build instructions so that we all know how to get it in the Mac App Store should anyone do something similar.

I have to send my 💻to Apple via mail to get my battery serviced, which should happen sometime this week, probably Wednesday. I will be taking a small hiatus/break from #hyperspacedev and #unscripteddev. Should it take longer than expected, I do have some form of a device to work off of.
