Gonna address this so that we’re clear: yes, we know the NPL is not open-source by the OSI definition. We know the website is wrong and will get around to fixing it soon. But we’ve determined that the NPL is most suitable for this project to maintain a healthy fediverse.

If you have a problem with the licensing, you’re free to use other software.

Been working with @amodrono the past few days on something we've been planning a while... the #Hyperspace #SwiftUI clients (codename Starlight)! We finished up data models and are starting to work on the user interface a little with some basic navigation. I'm excited to see what comes next.

I've updated the docs on #HyperspaceDesktop to include more detailed macOS build instructions so that we all know how to get it in the Mac App Store should anyone do something similar.

I have to send my 💻to Apple via mail to get my battery serviced, which should happen sometime this week, probably Wednesday. I will be taking a small hiatus/break from #hyperspacedev and #unscripteddev. Should it take longer than expected, I do have some form of a device to work off of.

Just realized that #HyperspaceDesktop is now over a year old as a project. Wowzers. #hyperspacedev

For anyone that's wondering, we're currently working on just doing a bug fix or two for the next beta, just to solidify things. #hyperspacedev

Probably the fourth time I've redesigned the website, but I think this would be a fair redesign considering some management changes. And hey, complete custom CSS! Only JS in here is for the mobile menu button and for Font Awesome icons. Will deploy upon team approval. #hyperspacedev

I wanted to release Hyperspace 1.0.0 when all releases were ready, but proceeded to release everywhere else while I wait for this review to go through. #hyperspacedev

I have to say, after testing this icon for a bit in some build of Hyperspace, I actually kind of really like this new icon. It really does speak "hyperspace" and keeps its origins in mind. #hyperspacedev

After some discussion with @Nomad1556 and @bio_ico, we are deciding to make all future versions of Hyperspace be licensed under the NPL. These changes will take effect as soon as the PR is approved. #hyperspacedev #hyperspace

Finally got around to writing the implentation for this! This is a rather important PR for Hyperspace since it will effectively prevent users on Gab.com from signing in (and also lets current Hyperspace users manage blocked servers better). #hyperspacedev
