We might not know it if we listen too much to the news stations or certain politicians, or our GOP as a whole, but homicides went down by a lot last year. We may not be quite at prepandemic levels for homicides, but we're nowhere near the bad old days of my young adulthood either. I'll take good news where I can find it. And for now? Fact check alarmist homicide coverage.
