30+ years after 400-yr-old #BabriMasjid was demolished by #HinduNationalists, a new temple has been built in #Ayodhya.
Dec 6, 1992 was one of independent #India's darkest days. The disputed site sits on one of its biggest religious fault-lines — thousands were killed in the violence that broke out.
"Religious sentiments are greater than the Constitution. If we had not done what we did, then the temple could never have been built," says one religious fanatic.

Majority of #India interpreted "#secular" just fine, except #FarRight #HinduNationalists.
In 1947 they wanted ALL land (incl E. & W. #Pakistan) with no partition (#UncannySimilarities with #FromTheRiverToTheSea) and assassinated #Gandhi for his pro-partition stance in 1948.
