Knowing a #primaryschool #headteacher who recently retired, much of the Observer story (below) is all too familiar.

Its no secret that alongside the #NHS the #tories have been defunding & trying to wreck public education in the UK, and for much the same reason(s);

to push those can afford it towards the private providers run by their chums (the political 'cover' that private provision is more 'efficient' is just a cyclical bit of mask wearing!)

I enjoy following #TeamEnglish, #womened, #DiverseEd, #leadership, #inclusion, among others. I am a #headteacher at a fabulous #school, and would love to see #GCSEreform because there are #betteroptions for our students.
