After my precious #HDBaseT in-home streaming solution was stolen by a neighbor last week (Amazon refunded me), I settled for a more more low-tech solution: I ordered a 10 m #HDMI cable and a 15 m active #USB 2.0 extension.
It's more conduit for sure, but cheaper and probably less hassle to set up as well.

Does anyone have experience with #hdmi extension technology like #Balun, #HDBaseT, or KVM Extender over IP?
I have a house wired with point-to-point cat6, and I'd like to move all my AV junk to the basement. It'd be great if I could run it through a switch but it's unclear to me what tech allows for that.

Visited the site today to discuss #HDBaseT termination, USB extension over Cat5, mounting the touchscreen control units, external lighting control, TV mounts and rack layout.
Rack's more discreet than I was expecting, but should be big enough!
