🏅Yesterday, during a festive symposium organized by VDW, Hamburg's Senator for Science Maryam #Blumenthal presented the Medal for Art & Science to our former director Hartmut #Grassl. Awarded by the Hamburg Senate, the #honor recognizes Grassl's exceptional scientific achievements. He had a significant impact on our institute as well as climate research in #Hamburg & Germany and he has been committed to communicating #ClimateScience and advising policymakers.#MPIM
