btw, I'm pretty sure I'm gonna get that #GlobLinker global cellular data hotspot device in the next few weeks; if the company only survives 10 months before going under, I'll have paid less than $17/mo for 2GB/mo of rollover cellular data, and it allows me to kick the can down the road a little further before upgrading my phone (which hasn't talked to American towers in years at this point) ... anything beyond 10 months and I'll consider it gravy.

Likely at a minimum selling your browsing data, but yeah, there has to more of a catch than that.

holy shit, Failbook actually served me a useful ad for this product, "GlobLinker," it's a (terribly named) portable cellular wifi hotspot with free 2GB data for life, which doesn't expire at the end of the month, and works in 130 countries. has anybody used one of these? what's the catch?!
