UPDATE: wife found the wallet in the pocket of the pants I was wearing yesterday. . . which I was certain I’d already checked. 🤦🏼
I honestly thought it would turn up in the freezer or something.

OK, so, not to alarm anybody but in the past few weeks I've lost my keys (at this point I don't ever expect to find them) and now my wallet (still hopeful).
I'd been planning on getting a credit-card style Apple-compatible location device for my wallet, but I've literally never lost it before and didn't really think there was any rush. WRONG!
Besides generally looking like shit, the worse things about getting older are (1) time and money spent on inconvenient and sometimes scary or painful medical procedures, (2) not being able to recall words when needed (as a writer, this one really hurts), and (3) losing/misplacing things.
FWIW, last year I went through approximately 2347698231 tests to discover there's nothing wrong with the brain, so no specific worries there.
I was always an absent-minded non-genius, but, damn, this is a drag.
