Man, #foregejo is well written software. Top notch.

And further sprinkles here is the #AGPL license on #Deuxfleurs #garage. So whole rugpull scenario gets MUCH harder.

Which btw, is also hosted on their own #foregejo server. 😁 The further I go on Garage, the more I'm really falling in love with this option.

Consistency controls was first requirement. Development continuity is the big second. 😎

Just wrapped up a chunk of work on my pet project:
Building a context & memory store for AI interactions with #FOSS

• Closed a long-running issue
• Merged the branch
• Tagged a new release

A welcoming moment where it feels like I”m making real progress — even though the roadmap is basically a polite way of saying “you’re nowhere near done.”

Still, one less issue. Making progress. Feels good.

Anyone migrate from #GitHub or #GitLab to #Codeberg or other options? Curious what your experience might have been like. The 3 features I have a lot of interest in are Public #Repositories, Private Repositories, and #GitHubPages. GitHub offering all 3 of these for "#free" is a huge advantage for "users". #Forge #Foregejo #FossilSCM

That's a good question. While I was initially fine to use the Forgejo's integrated CI and bite the bullet, I have no will to maintain The Golden Image I Will Definitely Forget To Update that would result in using *that* CI.
