No more meese since the swimmer in the morning.
Realized I haven’t shared any screenshots of Queen yet. This is from May 3rd:

Last morning. We just had our first swimmer. A bull.
Not so sneaky this time so we got to see the full swim.

It’s going to be over tomorrow, May 5th at 23:00.
Yes, they will quit early this year due to lack of moose and it makes me very sad.

There have been no meese for two days but suddenly we had a swimmer.

Yesterday we also had our first golden eagle. So cool! 🦅

Late last night we had a swimmer. It took forever before they decided to swim. There was almost no light left for the daytime cameras.

We had a fox yesterday!
We’ve had fox before but only at night. -
We do get to see some moose elsewhere as well of course.
Like this one who was looking curious. -
One more just crossed. Most meese this year just suddenly appear at the shore and start swimming.

We got a cow and a calf who just swam to an island in the river.

We’re not finished!
There were three more swimmers twenty minutes later.I think we also got our first loud swimmer.

And half an hour later two more meese decided to go for it. This time visible from the main broadcast.
(The reason why the number says 20 is because at the people monitoring the show haven’t discovered the previous 2 + 6 swimmers in the extra broadcast yet.)

About 15 minutes later six(!) meese are crosding from the same spot in the Extra broadcast.

Lots of swimmers this morning. Many outside the main broadcast as well.
At 4:19 in the morning this one swam from Näset in the Extra broadcast.

First meese caught by the main broadcast were these three.
Only one made it to the other side. The other two changed their minds and turned.10, 11 and now 12 swimmers in total.

It’s now daytime and somehow the production missed 5 meese swimming at lunch time.
(Maybe they were eating a sandwich or something?)So again the only cameras who caught them were the extra cameras. This image is from a rerun from the extra cameras.
