Hey community I need your input.
I was selected as a speaker for #DevRelCon, but I can't afford to pay for the travel or lodging.

What would you do?

What if I went to India in December to attend #DevRelCon and two weddings? Also, would it be crazy to go to #APIDaysParis, fly from Paris to Bangalore, and then attend #DevRelCon back-to-back?

Hm ... I always wanted to visit #DevRelCon and found out the next one's in Bangalore, a city I also want to visit again, but then the dates in December coincide with #APIDays in Paris #APIDaysParis ... so what do I do?!

👋 I'm at #DevRelCon NYC today and tomorrow. Along with @floord, we'll be running the #unconference tracks. I'd really like to connect with other #DevRel professionals with an aim to content collaboration, and to discuss strategy in general.

I'll be in New York in a couple weeks for #DevRelCon . Anyone have recommendations for good food while I'm there (anything from street food to fine dining)? This is not my first time, so I've seen the touristy sights and now just want to do the foodie thing.

Really interesting talk from Nadia Jiang #DevRelCon about developer communities in China - emphasising the relative youth of developers in China (63% below 30) and providing solid data around preferences and ways to engage.

I like Alfredo’s angle on the automation discussion from yesterday at #DevRelCon… “ruthless automation” -> “*thoughtful* automation” 👏🏻 measure and be aware of what you’re doing. Human interactions manage the “important nuance”

I’ll be leading a #Fediverse 101 session about Mastodon and more at the #DevRelCon unconference this morning.

Next up is Moti Granovsky talking about “When DevRel becomes Company Strategy” - leaning in to the London branding for #DevRelCon 🚇

Rich Millington pointing out the proliferation of online spaces for conversations, private and public, many of which we don’t control “we can fight against that if we want, or we can encourage and accept it” #DevRelCon - my take - the role of #DevRel is to go to where the communities are and the conversations happen; and then listen, engage, empathise, support and learn.

One of my personal most-anticipated speakers is kicking off day 2 at #DevRelCon - Rich Millington on using data to understand community engagement. I’ve been a fan since his book “Buzzing Communities”, and I continue to draw inspiration from his content.
