I just figured out that #Sentinel2 overtook #Landsat in 2024 for the yearly amount of published scientific papers, at least according to the #OpenAlex database. #Sentinel2 is still far behind concerning the total number of papers, but it is still a remarkable achievement for #Copenicus and @esa
