    I worked at two, maybe three places that ran #Novell netware but I never got into any of the admin side.
    Based on this the second picture in this toot techhub.social/@Sonikku/116307 Relevant text from a Seagate hard drive label is
    "Novell Netware Ready
    Formatting, Compsurfing or surface scanning will DESTROY Netware ready signature on this drive"
    What was #compsurfing in the context of Novell? I found like 3 posts and it seems to be some fragile way of imprinting a license key into the hard drive but I would love to know more.
