  1. The 6-yo Macbook Pro is back to life! After a couple of days the water spill has resolved itself and I can charge again. I'd have been so bummed to loose all my new stickers from #CellBio2022

  2. So the penultimate day of #CellBio2022 was pretty full-on. Started with a terrific talk from Don Cleveland as the recipient of the E.B. Wilson Prize. He did a split talk between neurodegenerative disease therapies and chromothripsis in cancer. Then it was a melee of talks, posters and catching up with @binyam and @jorgeferreira in the hubbub of the main hall. I got a ton of new ideas and tips for our work.

  3. Well that is really neat!

  4. Channeling the Chalfie vibe before hitting the poster floor today at #CellBio2022

  5. Final speaker of the session is @[email protected] from @[email protected] lab on the control of astrocyte moprhology by Ctnnd2. Great work throughout! #CellBio2022

  6. Time for glial cells! @[email protected] tells us about microtubule rearrangement during microglia activation #CellBio2022

  7. Time for @[email protected] from @[email protected] to show us how intersectin helps organizing replacement vesicles at the presynapse #CellBio2022

  8. Next, @[email protected] from @[email protected] tells us about the organization of actin at the NMJ presynapses and the role of tropomyosin #CellBio2022

  9. Marvin Bentley on stage revealing the role of the lesser known kinesin-2 family (KIF3A/3B) in neurons #CellBio2022

  10. Next, @[email protected] sheds light on spectrin slow axonal transport and formation of the periodic scaffold using endogenous tagging in C. elegans #CellBio2022

  11. 🚨 This afternoon at #CellBio2022, please come! “Interplay of Activity, Architecture, and Function in Neurons and Glia” subgroup organized by @[email protected] and @[email protected]. Featuring @[email protected] @[email protected] @[email protected] @[email protected] and more - starts at 3:30 in Room 207B🎯

  12. Amazing Porter Lecture by @JuanBonifacino just now at #CellBio2022. Lysosome transport in neurons supplemented with a cat video off the internet. Inspirational work from the Bonifacino work over the years.

  13. "What better way to start an early Monday than a talk about lysosomes?" - @[email protected] is actually right and we look forward to his Keith Porter lecture at #CellBio2022

  14. Please check out our #CellBio2022 presentations. #1453 #671 #3513 #4238 #1814 #2860 #4903 #4917 #4935

  15. Great talk by @[email protected] on the role of actin waves for mitochondria motility and mixing, now in interphase - I was so captivated by @[email protected] beautiful images of actin and mitochondria dancing together that I didn't snap a picture #CellBio2022

  16. Great talks in the first session #CellBio2022. Mitochondria-ER contact site dynamics (lovely images and analysis) by Christopher Obaya. Valentina Štimac showed how polar chromosomes are slow to move to pole and how they flip to get aligned.

Both great examples of inferring new sub cellular behaviours simply by observing (albeit with very clever tech). #CellBiology

  17. So the bar that was supposed to have #FRAPOL on had a church thing going instead... But the Penn Quarter on Indiana Ave accepted to open one hour earlier for us ⚽ #CellBio2022
