New rule for myself: I will not buy any more hardware for my #selfhosting hobby that can also be used for IoT/"Maker" projects. Quite frankly? They all aren't worth the powder to blow them to hell for my purposes.
The subject of my ire today is the original #zimaboard I've had for a couple years now.
A few weeks back, the server just went deaf mute and took all the VMs it's running under ProxMox with it.
Today, my audiobooks server (The awesome #audioshelf) went offline.
Attempts to restart it from witnin ProxMox just yields "Timeout waiting for systemd".
Guh. Googling reveals a bunch of people saying "Just restart the ProxMox server and it'll work fine".

I may wind up replacing it with an inexpensive #beelink micro-pc. I've got one of their tiny form factor muscle beach servers (i9 / Arc GPU) acting as my Plex and AI server.
