10 people being shot dead during a #LunarNewYear celebration is not just a tragedy, it's the fuel for nightmares.

I spent the night with family and had dinner with my 94 year old grandmother. We talked about what opportunities and hope we had for the next year.

When this senseless violence is committed against Asians during one of the largest celebrations of the year, it's a reminder that there are still too many people who don't speak up against #asianhate.
