First snippet: “The field of affective computing (development of systems that relate to the detection, interpretation, synthesis, and expression of emotion) started as far back as 1995. Rosalind Picard of MIT published a seminal book on affective computing, which kicked off an international conference on Affective Computing and Intelligent Interaction (ACII, 12th edition this year) and the Scopus-indexed IEEE Transactions on Affective Computing (IEEE TAC).”

A friend of @czds and me, Didith Rodrigo, posted an interesting take on affective computing and educational technology. Unfortunately, a link to the post isn’t possible. Dr. Rodrigo teaches at Ateneo University in The Philippines 🇵🇭 Here’s a thread with a snippet. If you find this subject of interest, you should search for her papers in this topic, as well as those she suggests

Assassin's Creed II
15h19m28s
While I feel like there are still hurdles for this game to clear on the way to realizing the full potential of the franchise's premise, the plot felt a little disneyfied compared to AC1, and the midgame was far less engaging, in plot and gameplay terms, than the extremities (with DLCs included at least), it's undoubtedly a massive improvement over the first game otherwise. The thing I felt was most important was the addition of real story progression.
