The thing about emotional abuse is that the #scars it leaves don’t look like physical scars.
When a person is #physically #injured, there are bruises and blood, and missing limbs and obvious disability.
When a person is #emotionally #injured the #damage is mental and emotional. Parts of the body aren’t noticeably missing or #damaged, but the person does act #abnormally.
People that show mental and #emotional #pain are seen as dangerous or #MentallyIll.
