Bendis' run is interesting (til the O5 wear out their welcome) & this does give us the start of Krakoa, but mostly a middling-to-nad decade as Marvel struggles to reconcile the #XMen w/broader corporate interests pre-Fox merger.

We've celebrated #60YearsOfX, but with 5 days left in the month, let's finish out #XMen60 by ranking the 6 decades of its existence! In 6th place is the 1960s, in which the power of Kirby & Adams can't overcome a middling series lacking an identity, heading torwards cancellation.

360 - Year 60 Memorable Moment: Face Off
Lots of memorable moments this year, from Magneto's last stand to the repeated deaths of Sinister, but I'll never forget the time Moira killed Banshee and used his face as a mask to sneak onto Krakoa.

The Trial of Magneto was meant to be an arc in X-Factor but Marvel didn't believe sales on the book were "big enough" for the story, so they spun it off into its own limited series (& cancelled X-Factor)

Not "fun" per se, but worth noting how the pandemic forced plans to change. For example, "X of Swords" got pushed to the fall while #Xmen #7 is clearly setting up Way of X, which wouldn't launch for over a year.

While #Xmen has a bit of a rotating art team this year, Yu is constant among them; not his first stint as an X-artist, his gritty, sometimes minimalist style is an interesting contrast w/Hickman's big ideas.
