  1. RE: mas.to/@RevPudDudley/117506731

    OH JESUS CHRIST
Look at AP there, saying "Oh it's probably nothing"

  2. What if the Felon-in-Chief amuses himself sadistically commanding his Criminal Attorney General to do fatuous, unconstitutional things?
We expect action after a crime has occurred, not because crime has been redefined...reimagined. Watch out if you run for office & they don’t like your name.

    From Politico:
"There could be a crime," said Blanche. "But the real wrong here is… an Alaskan intends to vote for one candidate, but is confused because of a second candidate with exactly the same name who has voted Democrat his entire life… is running."
Is there a secret law? Against dyslexic voting perhaps? Ehh, if he knows how someone voted even once … isn’t that a crime?
What if the antiPresident says everyone has to sit on a pickle? Who’ll be first?

  3. Raw Story:
In “Jeffery Epstein: How He Did It,” a TMZ documentary released Thursday. William Mersey, now a writer and journalist, was jailed with Epstein at the Metropolitan Correctional Center in Lower Manhattan in the days before Epstein died there in 2019.
“One day I went down, and I said verbatim, ‘Give me one anecdote that’s emblematic of Donald Trump’s essence,’” Mersey said in the documentary.
“That fired Jeffrey up immediately. He said, ‘I got it—’”
“So, we’re on my plane flying from New York to Miami. It’s just me and Donald and a French girl that I was dating,” Mersey quoted Epstein as saying.
“And Donald said, ‘Why don’t we stop in Atlantic City so I can show your friend my casino?’” Mersey continued.
“And Jeffy said, ‘No, we’re not stopping in Atlantic City. It’s all white trash down there,’”
“So the French girl asks, ‘I don’t understand what is this white trash,’” Mersey went on.
“And Trump says, ‘It’s me without money,’ he said.”

  4. From NYT, The Morning:
In Republican states, officers from agriculture depts., gaming commissions, fish & wildlife agencies have been deputized by ICE in an effort to expand Trump's deportation campaign.

Gee, you wanted to help fish & wildlife, lose your immortal soul.

    It's a funny old world

  5. There were some probs with "1984" -- Orwell was engaged in dying, it didn't make for a sunny outlook; also some time pressure there.
The Thought Police needed a helicopter to see in your windows; everyone didn't carry a device that can expose everything your mind wants to engage with; the proles indeed wouldn't be so contented & clueless (not all of them) ...
I used to think, "They had nothing to make you see what isn't there"
    Oh that problem's overcome now.

But people at last would think, "Really life's hard enough, why will we make an effort to bring children into this wretchedness & slavery?"
    ...Seems to be happening?

A form of words you used to hear around East San Jose:
"This shit can no longer be going on"

  6. President Dwight Eisenhower
    formerly Allied Supreme Commander
    April 16, 1953:

Every gun that is made, every warship launched, every rocket fired signifies, in the final sense, a theft from those who hunger and are not fed, those who are cold and are not clothed.

This world in arms is not spending money alone. It is spending the sweat of its laborers, the genius of its scientists, the hopes of its children. . .

This is not a way of life at all, in any true sense. Under the cloud of threatening war, it is humanity hanging from a cross of iron.

  7. Friday again, my heart is broke
and if I die before I wake
    who's the lucky one ?

  8. Tranloads, shiploads of $, billions spent on campaign nonsense, growing exponentially each time. Who goes home with all that, what's it all good for?
More to the point, never forget who exactly was party to certain of these inexcusable ads

  9. this is too good
    Can't steal image--

    Keith Knight cartoon;

Epstein, bubbling in a cauldron in Hell:

VOTE LIKE I'M ON THE BALLOT

  10. Here's a man who would like Trump to appreciate his ass
    (with the "little mushroom" ?)

GOP candidate, a certain Mitchell, gives El Disgusto an award he pulled out of his ass -- only appropriate--
    "Man of the Century", wow

People Who Don't Think Things Through ...
This century has a long way to go, and we may confront bigger problems (oh god), and hope for someone who will have any idea what to do about them, not scare them away with his hateful face

  11. Shows what they think of their voters?
WSJ -- WASHINGTON—"President Trump said he asked the Justice Department to sue Alaska to prevent certification of the state’s Senate results if the Republican candidate loses, an extraordinary move by his administration to intervene legally in the 2026 midterm elections."
    ============
Sometimes the Dept. of Obstructing Justice floats something that (I want to say) no lawyer would ever, ever...
only the biggest fool would dream of ...
And this is where it comes from.

DoJ files suit to throw out Alaska results if Peltola (D) wins over Dan Sullivan because I guess a Democrat Dan Sullivan is running too.
"I love the poorly-educated!" said The Man With TwoAnuses (one on his face). Yes, he did (2016?).
    Making America Grotesque Again

  12. “Trump is a convicted felon for crimes committed in 2016 …tp cpnceal his unsuitability to be President…also an adjudicated insurrectionist --per a Colorado trial court and Colorado Supreme Court - a ruling that SCOTUS neither contradicted nor disavowed when it took up the Colorado case. We all saw what Trump incited on January 6, 2021”
    —Glenn Kirschner

Beautiful ! Elegant !— if it were about some historical outrage, mercilessly punished long ago.

    *Impeach
    *Resist

  13. One more thing about J Edgar Hoover
    (if you were paying attention)

When he finally died, outlasting I can't think how many Presidents *...

the personal files he kept on many, many people were getting burned out in his yard...

only up to the letter 'C', if I remember right.

A truck arrived from Headquarters & took the rest.

You who are under 60, I suppose, don't have to worry about those...
*as for potential scandal of his own -- possibly the Mob knew some things; he never much cared to go after them

  14. October traditions:
    Leaves changing

    Halowe'en

    Stock market crashes
