   I love fast food but don’t eat it anymore. Grew up when birthday parties at McDonald’s were a thing. Bahamians also love KFC. During college I ate it all, all the time. So you can imagine my delight when I inexplicably got an email invite to a ribbon-cutting for a new Burger King in SoDo. I’m actually considering going. Please don’t be a scam.    .@kenthompson is reading the new Marlon James novel and asking what different Jamaican patwa means. All the Bahamian foolishness I spout helps but only up to a point. I always wished we had more of a sing-song accent like Trinis and Jamaicans.
