    Little vibe I made around may / june. It was originally a loop in Ableton's session view, but this version is the one which I recorded to casette, and then performed live while the tape was recording. I actually really like doing beat arrangements this way, it's very fun

    I'm really annoyed at the fact that Apple's FMI / activation lock is so poorly designed. I mean in theory it works, but it makes so many perfect condition devices functionally useless, e.g trash. There's so many ways they could've designed it better, such as automatic expiry of the lock after a certain time, perhaps enable activation lock / another form of lockout if the device was actually marked as stolen, etc. But instead we're left with a permanent, unbypassable lockout which renders these devices utterly useless. And in many cases it's not even a matter of a stolen device or whatever. And Apple doesn't even give you a reliable way to contact the original owner. The iPhone7 I'm picking away at now is such a device, I don't know the full story but iirc someone just left it somewhere random, some person found it, and then forwarded it on to a family member who gave it to me. I think that it would be far better of a fait for this phone if me or someone else could use it properly again, or at the very least contact the owner. But nope, it's trash. Not for me though because Android awaits!

    OK, this actually isn't such a bad idea. It seems to actually have the possibility of saving bucketloads of battery. Along side this I essentially just nuked all animations, disabled window painting, etc. I think this will be killer to run on the 1st gen SE.

    No, fuck this, I'm not doing the GPU for now. Remember when Sandcastle came out, but didn't have audio support? Well, now I'll release an ablest (disablest?) fork of Android with audio support, but no display support lmao.

    Last night I dreamt of talking to my friend, telling them I want an open flashcart for the Nintendo DS, and considering which model to buy. The DSI went through my mind, but I didn't want it, so I started asking my friend weather the DS Lite is a better option. Eventually I decided I might just get a 3DS, since that can play GBA, DS and 3DS games natively with a softmod.
    The funniest thing is that this is like exactly the thought process I have every single time I think about buying a DS based system lmao. I think this dream confirms I'm truely a nerd.
