   Literally every comment section on any piece of technology review should have an ETF-guy.

   What's an "ETF-guy" you may ask? For example, comment section of a review of plug-in batteries has one and I quote "Why would I gamble €2000 on a battery and then expect it to have zero maintenance and no performance issues over the next 13 years when I could just put that amount into an ETF and get a guaranteed 9% annual return and then have €2700 in 13 years?".

   I really wish people in IT would take a deep breath and think twice before using words such as "10x" and "AI" in contexts outside of their work. You're not going to "10x" bridge-laying even if use "leverage AI" in the most efficient manner. You can't download a bridge model from printables.com ya know. You can barely 1.1x your own database migrations, maybe start by focusing on that instead?

   Huh, PEP-827 kinda completely flew by me unnoticed but holy crap that's a SWOLE PEP. My index finger got tired of scrolling https://peps.python.org/pep-0827/

   That suggested scope of change is _massive_ as well and as someone who sometimes yearns for TypeScript-y type system in Python I'm torn between liking and hating this, mostly because while immensely powerful TS type system is anything but simple and has amazing footguns. Very elegant footguns I have to say. #python
