Made it out of Pagosa Springs and about an hour from Monticello. Snows finally coming in the mountains towards Vail.

Couple more hours and a aqua massage before we hit the road again.
Leaving Pagosa Springs heading towards Moab. Storms have washed out a lot of roads, the parks are a crap shoot. Decided we are going to head home and stop where we can.
Day 15 is going to be a guessing game.

Storms have ripped through the resort all day closing the pools for lightning a few times. The staff is doing great keeping the water open where they can. The entire bathhouse and original pools are closed, significant flooding and bank erosion has compromised the lower river pools.

Made it to Pagosa Springs, CO without issue. We hit a washout that was manned and safe enough for the CRV (AWD). We made it in the only open road into town. The river should crest tonight around 15 feet, it’s crazy. I will make a separate picture post.
The Resort has had to close a few pools but most are open. We took a dip in a few already.
Natural disaster aside, really pretty up here.
We are here till Sunday before we hit Zion and Brice.
Good distraction from the world and politics.
