  1. It speaks volumes for Bradford's record as a Councillor for Ward 19 - Beaches - East York that his former constituents voted 65.4% for Olivia Chow, 31% for him, and 3.6% for somebody else. It would appear that the reports that he was a bad representative had more than a little truth to them.

I find this funny as I listen to CITY TV's coverage from his campaign event. As it did during the election, City is still trying to puff Brad and frame this disastrous result for him as some kind of confirmation of his greatness.

  2. A very convincing victory for tonight. As of posting this, she leads Bradford 54.1% to 41.2%.

This does not speak well for the polls that said it would be close. To be fair, I think a lot of voters were persuaded by mainstream media and its uncritical reporting to look at Brad, but as the time to vote approached decide they didn't like what they were seeing and emphatically rejected Brad's crabbed conservative vision.

Also seeing that Braeden Chow snagged almost 8,000 votes, most of which were probably votes meant forf Olivia. He's very lucky the final vote isn't close, because if Bradford had won by that margin I think Braeden woudl have had to move out of Toronto, the little weasel.
