My love for it might be explained by the fact that I was thrown into the deep end of being responsible for a bunch of really huge and clumsy shell scripts when I started my IT career nearly 25 years ago.
I can basically just sit and write shell as my native language.
Perl or possibly Python might be a lot better, hack even Go/#Issue9, but, yeah, I'm stuck with it, and I kinda love it, so...

@diazona @libreivan Thank you for your thoughts, apart from (2) which is disabled on most browser setups (e.g. mullvad-browser, arkenfox) I totally see how just typing some words in the address bar might be enough and using bookmarks for stuff you want to check one later. I got so used to #onetab extension that the builtin bookmarks feel sluggish. But I will try to change my behavior and see how it goes.
