zbus 6.0 is out: a major release of the pure-Rust D-Bus library.
What's new:
• zvariant, zvariant_derive and zbus_names are now part of zbus.
• With `default-features = false`, you get just the wire format and the name types, without any connection code.
• A connection takes its sockets, timers, tasks and blocking work from one runtime: zruntime by default, Tokio, or your own through `zbus::runtime::traits::Runtime`.
• zbus builds for WASI.
• The default dependency tree on Linux went from 66 crates to 32.
• The proxy and service APIs, tracing and the more exotic transports are cargo features, so you build only what you use. What breaks:
• The blocking API is gone in favour of `zbus::block_on`.
• `Value` is now `Variant`.
• GVariant moved to the zgvariant crate.`zbus::zvariant` stays as a deprecated alias, so most code keeps compiling, and the upgrade guide walks through every change.

Creating Apps in SailfishOS using Golang: Daemons and stuff
In this article we'll learn how to create parts of the code for SailfishOS apps in Golang. Namely we'll use an approach where the GUI is written in standard Qt and communicates with the daemon using D-Bus or a socket.https://chrastecky.dev/programming/creating-apps-in-sailfish-os-using-golang-daemons-and-stuff
