I don't know if #mastodon's edit feature is annoying to people who boosted a post but when you take a second look the next day and notice an error any editor would have if you were writing for money and get to fix it for posterity it is so satisfying.
Using this thing for journaling and news clippings it's wonderful to be able to edit my notes again since deleting facebook and switching briefly to #BirdTurds, where your every typo lived on forever.
